Pros

Flexible hours. Was a great culture for a couple years. Good opportunity to make money

Cons

Product is priced waaay too high compared to competition. The culture completely changed once Vista Equity Partners started draining the company of all it's great vlaues. Middle line sales leaders are a joke.

Pros

Nice office to uses when you want. Office perks are awesome.

Cons

Upper Sales Managers (VP and above) are disconnected and have unrealistic expectations for the ground level and up employees. They are only concerned about making a name for themselves then jump ship and onto their next big company/promotion. They talk a big talk, but don't have a clue how it is to walk the walk in today's work environment as a sales employee.

Pros

Very flexible work arrangements with good benefits. Benefits used to be better. Starting out I feel like I negotiated a good initial salary.

Cons

The companies best times and performance appear to be in the past. No merit and low bonus funding since I've been here. Bonus and merit were both highly touted during recruiting process, but in 2 years the targets have not been met; therefore no good payouts and raises. Benefits used to be better - was a big part of my decision to go to PluralSight and again - highly discussed during recruiting, then they stripped those away 5 months later. Overall a lot of things were advertised to get me in the door, then those things were taken away or highly embellished.

Pluralsight Response

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your experience at Pluralsight. Your feedback is crucial, and I want to express my sincere apologies for any feelings of disappointment or confusion you may have encountered during the recruiting process. I understand your concerns about changes in benefits, bonus funding and merit increases, especially when these aspects were highlighted during the recruiting process. It was not our intention to mislead you, and I want to acknowledge the impact this has had on your experience. Despite a challenging business environment, we have worked hard to keep our base benefits (like Unlimited time off and our healthcare and wellness benefits) competitive. As you know, bonus funding and merit are both based on company and individual performance, making it more difficult to provide amounts in the recruiting process. Thanks to feedback from candidates and team members, we have implemented processes to enhance communication and transparency. We are committed to ensuring transparency of our offerings during the recruiting process and always welcome questions to clarify any expectations. If you would like to discuss this further, please reach out to me directly! Thank you for your continued commitment to Pluralsight. Will Clive Chief People Officer
