There are no pros to provide.

Cons

Pomeroy is an IT outsourcing company that outsources its own services and labor. The jobs they "currently" cannot outsource to the Philippines have very low salaries. There are no benefits offered above those required by law. You will not receive any raises, except a 1-2% increase every two or three years if you're lucky. Managers and above should not be trusted at all. There are no actual "leaders" at Pomeroy as anyone with actual talent leaves or gets pushed out. Pomeroy is a small company that is trying desperately to act like a large, world-renowned company with none of the small business charm, and all of the corporate scum of a large business.

Pros

You work independent, generally good support from other tech. Depending on the customer there is a support center that will assist with your questions about customer problems.

Cons

Poor health insurance, they have a 401k but they do not committee to contributions . Forced stand by with no stand by pay. Emergency call out with again no compensation like time and half pay. If you work holidays its at regular pay not time and half.

Pros

Co workers and my direct supervisor were great to work for.

Cons

Management doesn't live by the word of their contract. We were supposed to get 30 days notice upon being laid off due to the data center being shut down, but we only received 10 days notice.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review and share your perspective with us. I am sorry to hear that your employment ended with short notice. In all honesty, often timelines are driven by the client...not determined by Pomeroy. I completely agree that both individuals and companies should live up to the terms of the contracts that they agree to. I am curious about the contract that you are referring to.
