Pros

The only good thing are the people I lead and worked with. Pomeroy has many good people who work hard to accomplish the goal of taking care of the customer.

Cons

If you don't want raises ever work for Pomeroy. The benefits are average but your on your own for your 401K as they don't match or pay fees. Upper management is out of touch with what field service does on a day to day basis. All around this place has made me dread getting up and going to work.

Pros

- Hard to leave when you have great co-workers. The boots on the ground for this place are not slouches. - Flexible hours and laid back middle management. - 3 Weeks vacation usually on start date. (or pretty close to start date.)

Cons

- Company has been losing a battle with Toshiba in a contract war, this has cost some jobs in the Ohio Area. This unsteady history is probably going to end with a split of techs leaving to work for Toshiba. - Upper management and CEO has switched again in less than a year, more organizational announcements are coming soon regarding this. Another sign this place is the Titanic and not a cash cow. - Raises are still not being considered and the company uses legalese to dodge questions regarding this in meetings. Guaranteed the Organizational meeting at least 5 people on the call will ask and get a politicians runaround. - Work is scarce, calls that come in are a long distance from your primary work area. This means lots of driving as a personal vehicle driver. This means lots more liability and gas responsibility with no increase in compensation. The company "feels the number is fair" even though it hasn't changed in over 5 years.

Low pay, no raises in years, no growth paths, micro-managed, very poor communication from management They're so cheap they don't even guarantee 40 hours a week to their "full-time" employees.
