Pros

Great flexibility, plenty of opportunity for picking up hours, especially if you like traveling. Relatively laid back

Cons

Depending on the manager, this is hugely impactful. I've had incredible managers, but my current manager makes me genuinely question how she has a job with the company. One of the only 3pl companies that do not offer mileage for merch work. They used to but cut it. Pay is abysmally low, but you can be paid for an hour even if the job only takes you 5 minutes. This can balance out the low pay, but it still is not competative.

Thanks for your feedback. After doing extensive research, we believe our mileage reimbursement aligns with industry standards. If you feel like you are traveling too much for your stores, please reach out to your manager so that they can adjust them.

Pros

Manager salary is a liveable wage. Not having to open or close a store location is nice. Get to meet and work with cool people including colleagues and sales reps. HR department is very responsive.

Cons

Retention of sales reps lasts an average of 30-90 days so you are constantly hiring and training new reps only for them to quit on you which results in you not getting to spend enough time with tenured reps. The lack of tier levels amongst competing locations. In laymen's terms, a store that sees 1k people a day is pitted up against a store that sees 100k people a day. The manager of the 100k store will be praised constantly on chats and calls while the other is ignored until they eventually quit or are pushed out of business. Fraud is frequent. Managers and reps across the company get fired every few days for obvious fraud such as running credit apps with nobody in front of them or selling fraudulent BYOD accounts on ATT. But the company promotes low key fraud like selling to drug addicts or homeless people due to automatic approvals with low down payments. "Come get 5 phones for $10 guarenteed approval!" That was a sales pitch we used when we had $2 out the door phones. We sell these phones knowing these people can't afford monthly bills. That IS fraud. Work life balance is not really a thing. My last few months we had 8am calls Monday to Friday with Mondays and Tuesdays having a second call. That's on top of working your expected 8 hour shift after the calls and then getting stuck taking phone calls from reps or your boss on days off. These morning calls were of no substance, just rinse and repeat each day. The last thing I will say (there is plenty more) is once they are done with you they will find anything, and I mean anything to get rid of you. Many of these things are uncontrollable items such as how many phone accessories your particular Walmarts sell on average per month. What?!?! Also best part is that these guys like to put the job ad up that is advertising your open position well before you are even set to be terminated thus putting you in an extremely uncomfortable spot. PS: Walmart management can be extremely difficult to work with and you get very little outside support to help resolve any issues with them.

Pros

MONEY IS DECENT, TEAMMATES ARE GREAT!!!

Cons

HORRIBLY RAN COMPANY! Was with the SAME EXACT Territory for 8 mos. Did fairly well.. get a new DM in August (3rd Different DM in 8mos!!!) She asks if I'd like to takeover a different Territory. I told her that I could not do this. She says okay. Three days later, I receive a call from the new DM, and she says "I've made a decision and it's to move you" "We need someone who has experience (5+yrs) and someone who knows this business, to jump in here and get a fresh start and to take this new territory to a better spot! AGAIN, I say that I CANNOT! In the midst of this happening, my grandfather passed away. So I take bereavement. Before coming back, I send multiple emails to HR asking what my job duties will be since I turned down the "new better offer" I hear NOTHING from them! Finally, I copy ALL OF HR in another email. I get a response, and they say "we've received a call from one of your stores, management says they no longer want you here due to your behavior!!????? I have spoken with EVERY TEAM LEAD, AND EVERY STORE MANAGER, NONE OF THEM SAID THIS!!!! Sooo I was terminated because I said that I COULDN'T just up and leave to a new territory!! Also, I let my team of 8 reps know "hey guys, this is what they're wanting" my ENTIRE team said "we're going to quit if they push u out of here" SURE ENOUGH THEY DID JUST THAT AND SENT HR AN EMAIL STATING THAT THEY WOULD BE RESIGNING! With that and me emailing and copying EVERYBODY, they decided to let me go!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE company!!!! HR was great UP UNTIL NEW MANAGEMENT CAME ALONG, THEN THEY WERE ON THE OTHER SIDE AND NOT ON MY SIDE ANYMORE!!!!!
