Pros

Cruise benefits are good Work from home

Cons

Horrible work/life balance, you have to submit for vacations 1+ years in advance and even then it often gets put on waitlist. I've worked there for over 4 years and have been able to take about 2 weeks off total in that time. Low pay with very low increases once per year. In 4 years, despite glowing performance reviews, I've seen my pay increase by about $1 per hour. Very high turnover rate. Very few holidays off, my team gets Christmas day and one other random holiday off each year.

Pros

There are some amazing people that work for this company that are always willing to pitch in. The Seattle office is new and nice. 9/80 schedule.

Cons

Extremely manual and archaic systems. Lack of SLA’s and accountability by leadership. Job descriptions don’t mean a thing - you will be working on projects extremely outside the scope of your title. The work volume is insane, there is little to no support from management, and some teams have extremely high attrition rates that never get investigated or resolved. Micromanagement is real, and everything is reactionary instead of proactive.

Pros

Travel Free “food” No expenses I have to write a 20 word minimum but those are literally the only Pros of the job.

Cons

I could write a thesis on the workplace abuse I suffered under those at Princess who were under-qualified and ill-equipped to supervise. I was told multiple times that my voice did not matter even though I was part of a “team”. I had to deal with very incompetent people in supervisory positions yet was constantly talked to in a condescending manner. In addition, the time management of some of those in power is APPALLING. There’s a reason these people work on a cruise ship; because they would never get hired on land. Absolutely horrendous.
