Excellent benefit package. Usually flexible with emergent personal issues (depending on who you are in the schmooze posse ).

Cons

Lower than average hourly pay (the lowest on the area scale according to the State unemployment statistics information charts.) HR not entirely employee oriented. Limited advancement opportunities.

Pros

I have had an enjoyable work experience mostly because I was lucky enough to be on a team with supportive people. The medical benefits are great and inexpensive for the employee (it can be expensive to add family members).

Cons

There is a very high turn over rate at the office I am at, therefore policies, procedures, and each persons responsibilities are constantly changing. You can easily be gone for a week long vacation and come back to new rules. I also found out that I was getting paid significantly less than I should have been for my experience/position.
