Pros

This company offers clinical abstractors a great work from home opportunity. The people I work with both in the hospital and within Q-Centrix are fantastic. The organization empowers teams to become an extension of the hospital's quality department. The pay and benefits have improved each year.

Cons

Nothing significant. It would be great to meet face-to-face more often. But that's about it.

Pros

Fast paced, plenty of work, opportunity to learn new software, opportunity to gain experience with numerous EMR applications, generous PTO policy.

Cons

Immediate leadership needs some work. Team leads swearing they've told you about something when it was not true. Very little team building, felt like a factory.

Q-Centrix Response

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. As an organization focused on learning, improvement, and collaboration, we deeply value such input. I was thrilled to read that you’ve had opportunities to grow and learn as a member of our Cancer Registry team—these are important elements of any job, and especially meaningful components of the Q-Centrix culture. We know that talented professionals like you have many options regarding their employment, and so we see someone’s choice to work for and recommend Q-Centrix, as you have, as a great privilege. With that said, I’d like to specifically respond to your comments that are more constructive in nature. Because we pride ourselves on creating a strong sense of belonging across our entire community, I am sorry to hear that your experience has been anything but excellent. As you likely know, our Cancer Registry offerings and team have grown tremendously throughout the past year and a half. As such, we’re heavily investing in the space and will continue to further enhance the structure of the team and the management support that comes with it. I have already reached out to some folks internally to collaborate on ways in which we can supplement our team building efforts. On that note, If you have any further feedback you’d like to share, I welcome your ideas! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly—I will happily keep your name and feedback in confidence. I wish you all the best in your next chapter and hope that our team will have the opportunity to reconnect with you down the road. Thank you! -Eve Hersh eve.hersh@q-centrix.com

Thank you for providing feedback and sharing your experience with Q-Centrix. With respect to your specific comments, I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the flexibility our careers offer, and regret that you felt you didn’t have a sufficient volume of work. As a part-time team member, you were likely aware that we are shifting the composition of our workforce to a predominantly full-time one, which means much of the case volume in our large service lines has been assigned to folks working 30 hours or more per week. Of course, we highly value all team members’ contributions—regardless of their part- or full-time status, and will always have a place for high-performing part-timers in the Q-Centrix family. And while I am not familiar with your specific situation, I’m sorry to hear that your experience with Q-Centrix fell short of what we strive to create for all team members: meaningful work that’s rewarded by competitive pay and benefits, in conjunction with a tight-knit, inclusive community that allows associates like you to collaborate, learn and innovate every day. Perhaps we’ll have the opportunity to provide you with a different experience as a full-time associate in the future. In the meantime, I wish you the best of luck in your next venture. If you have any further feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at eve.hersh@q-centrix.com. Thank you, Eve Hersh Sr. Manager, People Experience
