Pros

Working from home allows a flexible schedule.

Cons

Complicated compensation model with salary reductions. Q-points tier bonus model rewards employees who have higher volume and efficiency rates. Efficiency rates adjusted to a standard that 50% of employees fall below. The whole q-points bonus program is a smoke and mirrors show with one outcome- wage reduction. You are not fooling anyone and I predict many employees will resign in June when this new model begins. I am currently looking for alternative employment.

Thank you for the comment. Your feedback is very important. As you know, our model offers many benefits such as a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work from home. Our evolving compensation structure reflects our unique environment. We’ve reached out to the team for feedback on several topics, including compensation. Their input shaped the evolution of our model. The overall goal is certainly not to cut wages but rather reward productivity, quality, and commitment. By equipping employees to meet and exceed their goals, success becomes more achievable and our team feels more empowered - something I think we all want to see. In the last year, we’ve produced many new tools within our technology platform to further our team’s understanding of compensation; including the recent release of an overall earnings dashboard and an entirely new report. The tools calculate team members’ current earnings and potential earnings, including the Q-Points bonus. I've been closely involved in the development of these real-time reports because I am personally committed to complete compensation transparency. I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions you have about the compensation structure at the email below. I’d love to discuss how to make it work best for you and your situation. Pros

Work from home .. that's my only pro.

Cons

I have not started my assignment yet and it has been 8 months. Horrible communication, team leaders were not on the same page as contract hospitals. It would take weeks to get a response to emails, I feel like I'm a nuisance trying to get an answer on when my assignment will begin. I have given up and took my employment elsewhere.

As a member of the Q-Centrix leadership team, I am personally committed to creating a fulfilling and collaborative work environment for all our team members. I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t experienced that commitment during your time with Q-Centrix. I’m also sorry to hear that you didn’t take advantage of the many vehicles we’ve created for team feedback so that we can discuss and solve issues before they negatively impact our team—our Q&A box, Yammer, Town Halls and even our direct contact information. As a leadership team, we frequently communicate our contact information and our availability to discuss and problem-solve any team member’s concerns. With that said, I know there can be IT delays, but an 8-month wait is very uncommon and alarming. I apologize that you didn’t receive more consistent updates about your assignment. I have already reached out to gain a better understanding of what has happened here. I take your feedback seriously and welcome any further suggestions you may have. I hope you’ll feel comfortable reaching out to me directly to provide more details about your experience as I’d like to ensure it doesn’t happen again. If you’re willing, please email me at jelena.virijevic@q-centrix.com. -Jelena Virijevic, VP Human Resources and Operations

Pros

Flexability, less dry cleaning bills, interesting clients, vast array of people to work with. In the summer, I don't work every afternoon until I've taken a long swim. I work again at night, once the family is tucked in. If I want a day off during the week, I can make up hours any time in that pay week. I even went out of state to stay with my mom who was sick, our IT department allowed me to download my clients to my encrypted laptop and I could take it to Florida and work down there, while my mom slept, so I didn't need to lose any time. It made my life so much easier. The people are tremendous to work with! Such a vast resource of skill sets and experience and we really do all help each other.

Cons

Although we deal with people on line and on the phone, I do miss the interaction of the hospital setting. Do I miss my commute? Do I miss traveling in the snow? Do I miss not being able to make an appointment during 'work hours'....Absolutely not.
