Pros

Free Swag New Office Space Free Food Not a whole lot else to say other than I hope you got in on the ground floor.

Cons

I've heard from current employees that Q2 has adopted a new bell curve sysyem in which they cut the bottom 10 percent of the company. What has happened with this new system is that the good ole boys who are not performing and are lazy get a passing review. However, if you are new and have little experience you will be the first group of people to be cut. Trying to lead by fear is not leadership. Time to bail this abhorrent environment. High rate of turn over with no back filling. You have been warned!

Pros

Excellent benefits, including comprehensive health coverage (that also allows for Domestic Partners to be covered!), modern PTO policy, generous equity grant and a well-appointed office space (pre-COVID). Their COVID plan was proactive and well-executed, sending employees home far sooner than the average. For the most part, the teams are helpful, considerate, friendly and collaborative to work with.

Cons

If you're unlucky (like me) you'll get hired to a team with an overbearing, pro- micromanagement team lead, who stifles the application of the Agile Scrum processes that the majority of the company is supposed to be adopting. When you push back on their directives, you'll get called on your personal line by said team lead, who will scream and berate you for over 30 minutes. When you report their behavior to their boss and HR, you'll get ignored or told "I don't think that's what he meant" and other abuse-enabling phrases. When your boss' behavior continues in the same vein for almost a year, you'll realize that no one in leadership or HR is going to help you, and you're stuck in a terrible situation.
