Pros

in the centers there are still some associates who care about patients . In MN the radiologists are skilled

Cons

New chiefs have changed the culture of the company. Clinical decisions made from a distance. No longer care about the team and this is now seen with the care given to patients. One change is no merit increases. There is a merit bonus that has been in place for two years. However, the chiefs talk about how well the company is doing. Some stay because of the amount of vacation not becasue they care about the company. In a little more than a year CDI has begun to slide backwards .

Care for our patients is the hallmark of what we do, and has been for over 30 years. Our associates who are working directly with the patients and providing that remarkable experience to them each day is at the heart of that. Thank you for sharing your perspective so we can make positive changes. I also encourage you to keep talking with your leaders and sharing your ideas for how to make things better.

Pros

Peers are great. CDI is a great company.

Cons

RCM Management has favorites, they are disconnected from team members. Upper management is in NY while corporate is in MN. Too disconnected and separate from the rest of the company. They talk about being one team but don't show it. Upper management treats everyone as if they are replaceable showing no loyalty to people. Good, long term people are leaving. Many unhappy employees.

Glad to see your support of your team, company, and CEO. To clarify a few of your comments, we do have an Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) office in St Louis Park, MN and in Buffalo, NY, and we have managers and directors in both offices. Our RCM team is a department of our corporate team, and as of the fall of 2017 reports to our Chief Administrative Officer, who also leads our legal, facilities and purchasing, and practice management teams and is in our MN office. We are excited about this new structure and believe it will allow us to make enhancements to teamwork. The average tenure of our RCM team is 7 years, and nearly 20% have been with us over 15 years.

If you’re still feeling a major disconnect, I encourage you to provide your specific examples and suggestions to upper management, so we’re able to have a dialogue, hear your ideas, and either make enhancements or help you better understand the why’s behind decisions.
