Pros

You can gain alot of friendships. With co-workers and customers

Cons

You can work your all day everyday. But they dont care. You have to be best friends with higher management in order for them to even look your direction. You can run a department on your own for 3 years and they dont notice. Once they get tired of you they find any reason to fire you.

Pros

Great benefits. The family that owns the organization is down to earth, respectful and grateful to their employees.

Cons

Culture is a mess. Mainly stemming from the tolerance and cover-up of bad behavior and decisions from HR and senior leadership. Good old boys club. Discrimination abounds. Agism, racism and sexism. Rampant nepotism breeds low performing managers and directors who again are given special treatment by HR. The productivity and performance of this organization would more than double with a few key terminations at the leadership levels. It is unfortunate that these bad apples will eventually ruin the good name and reputation the family has worked hard to build.

Pros

-Huge company, but really feels like family at the branch level -Fast paced work environment and opportunity to grow within the ranks -Bonus plan that is based on individual and team goals -Complete benefits package with good insurance and 401k options

Cons

Upper management runs the Service Managers too lean. As a Service Manager you'll be expected to manage the day to day operations of 6+ technicians, plus the handling of all incoming/outgoing shop repairs, all service related phone calls and emails, and build estimates, provide updates and work with parts and sales departments; all by yourself. You'll work 50+ hours per week and still won't be able to catch up on all your work.. f you're sick and the ops manager happens to be out of the office, there is nobody to do your job and you fall even further behind.
