Pros

Senior leadership is inspiring, visionary, and forward thinking about healthcare (Except new IT leadership). Practice used to be a place with huge talent, people wanting to do better/more with less. New office was nice addition (N/A because of COVID). Weekly happy hours on Friday (no more because of COVID). Leadership does a good job with diversity, COVID education, initiatives of doing good in the world.

Cons

Pay used to be at market, now well below market. Merit increases are small (1-2%). A great talented company with high upside has attracted a horde of mediocre "can't do it" employees (IT + RCM). IT leadership is laughable and has brought people with big titles that don't do anything for the organization (things have gotten worse since their arrival). This company/practice is top heavy. Lots of Directors/VP/SVPs, not enough people doing the work. Incompetent people get promoted all of the time. A sure way that will lead to many talented employees to leave.

Pros

Casual work atmosphere; free to work from home as needed. Fair pay.

Cons

A good part of working there is a popularity contest. You do get judged by your attendance at meetings outside the workplace...even if you don't want to "loan" the company money to make the travel plans. Work can be assigned based on popularity.

Pros

- Growing company - Decent benefits and pay - Talented and skilled workforce - Innovative and forward thinking executive management - The overall feel of the RP atmosphere seems to be that everyone wants to be what we claim to be to new hires, customers, and online.

Cons

- Executive management seems pretty detached from what’s really happening outside the corporate office. They only know what the middle men tell them and that’s not always an accurate picture of how things are running. - Middle management seems completely disorganized, offers no significant training, leadership, lacks focus, no follow through, and horrible communication. - Seems like talented people get hired, but they quickly lose enthusiasm / motivation due to mismanagement, lack of organization, training, leadership, and communication. - There seems to be no professional/personal boundaries. It’s an extremely bizarre culture to get accustomed to for “outsiders” or people that get hired without knowing anyone. They say it’s still a “start up” so maybe this comes with the territory. - There is obviously major favoritism. Proof is in assignments, information sharing, who gets time to be adequately trained, resources given, and basically over all treatment of employees. It’s just unprofessional on so many levels. - Seems like people have been promoted to senior positions or management, because they have been here a while and not because they can manage people or operations. A manager needs to know how to manage people not just the technical tasks in their job description.

During your 1 on 1’s with your Manager, we recommend that you advise them what assignments you’re interested in undertaking & expectations for growth and development. As we continue to grow being able to narrow down areas we need to prioritize on is key, communicating with us will assist us in identifying trends and best practices throughout our Practice. Also, if there is any behavior that makes you uncomfortable or crosses boundaries, we highly encourage you to notify your Manager or any HR Representative directly, so we can implement corrective action. Your feedback is valued and we are appreciative, hopefully as your tenure continues you feel empowered to provide your recommendations to us directly and ideally even help in the creation of methods to drive such improvements.
