Pros

I enjoy working with my immediate team of co-workers.

Cons

Open door policy is not the reality, if you bring up issues they will come back on you. Seasoned employees who work hard and have shown reliability and dependability are routinely passed over for YOUNG iinexperienced workers. Customer Care Managers, leads and representatives do not have any authority and it can take days to get answers for customers leaving customers feeling like they are getting the run around. Very short staffed in Rochester region causing long hours, and a stressful environment as you have to do the work of 2 or 3 people with no end in sight.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly appreciate it and hope that you will re-approach the open door with your VP or HR Specialist or HR VP so that they can help with some of the frustrations. We value all of our associates and guiding principles and want to create the best experience for you and our customers.

Pros

The biggest pro is having a job . I can't really think of anything much beyond that. Possibly learning about new furniture trends.

Cons

VERY long hours on your feet Management has favorites who get prime days off and better hours. Enormous amount of walking required on carpeted concrete can do a number in your back.

Pros

Used to be good over 5 years ago. Established themselves and now keep taking money out of their salespeople pockets.

Cons

The more discount you give a customer the more you lose out of your paycheck. If you give long term finance you also take a hit. Although the law in NYC is 5 personal days they still only give you 3 days. 1st year I delivered $750,000 and I made $70,000 Two years later I delivered $1,400,000 and I made $80,000 for the year. These are the games they play with the margins.
