Pros

ReSource Pro is uniquely positioned to be a disrupter in the insurance industry. They have insurance experience from all sectors, great customer service ethic, and the ability to solve client problems with technology, process, or old-fashion man power. This flexibility allows them unique insights into new insurance industry trends, and the opportunity to apply best practices that benefit all their clients.

Cons

With all the opportunity, it is difficult to choose where to focus. As the company continues to grow, the luxury of remaining a highly nimble start-up is reduced. Changing course becomes a more costly endeavor.

We love that our disrupter position provides exciting work and project opportunities for our employees. Thanks for your thoughtful advice on how we can improve. It’s a great reminder for the management team on the importance of staying focused on priorities.

Pros

Healthcare benefits are good, flexible schedule is nice. Ability to travel to the foriegn offices is great. Clients really do like the partnerships and are usually very nice and fun to work with.

Cons

(Only have experienced the US virtial based positions or NYC office, not Lincoln IX Center and this does not include the foreign offices in China or India)Growing company with associated growing pains in addition to quite a bit of turnover on the US side. Company wide meetings are 2x a year and are run very poorly and unorganized. Little to no opportunity for advancement. I think I only saw 1 promotion anywhere in the company (US side, and not including Lincoln). Some leaders are better at relationships than others. My boss never learned the names of my spouse, children. Always smalltalk, no substance. Training is almost non existant or rushed for some roles so know that going in. Not sure they use (or know how to use) the tools they will have you go through in terms of development/personality profiles. Travel expectations are high and show little regard to timing and how that affects your personal life so be ok with frequent travel if the role requires it. From a culture standpoint employees are friendly and cordial but there's no depth unless they have known you for years. For a small company (again US side) it feels like a very large company. This is really hard to get over because the employees are mostly remote workers.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such thoughtful feedback. I’m glad you had the opportunity to travel to our foreign offices while working at ReSource Pro and enjoyed our excellent benefits! I’m sorry to hear you didn’t feel there were opportunities for advancement within the organization while you worked here. This January, we announced nine internal promotions within our US Operations and expect more to come later this year. I appreciate your candid feedback about opportunities for improvement. We recognize most of our remote positions require significant travel. We will continue to strive for transparency when discussing the travel requirements with prospective candidates. Additionally, I appreciate your recommendation about creating a better link between our global offices. Thank you again for taking the time to leave us feedback.
