Pros

The kiddos, seeing their progress over time.

Cons

Administration staff, some major bullies that are all part of a big, weird, clique of like these sorority chics that run the business just like a sorority. If you like to yell, belittle, force, physically restrain others for no real reason...you will love this place. These ladies have lost sight of their true mission and only care about $$$.

We apologize for having been inactive on Glassdoor and therefore the delay in responding to your review. We want to thank you for your 4+ years of service to the clients and families we serve! We are committed to our overall mission of improving the lives of children with special needs and have continuously worked to improve our approaches to support this mission. Physical restraints are not something our company takes lightly and we have never condoned the use of physical restraints without parental consent and a laid out behavior plan. We have ensured all Team Members have been and continue to be properly trained on the use of when and how to implement crisis management with parent approval. We have made several positive changes since this review that support our efforts in focusing on quality services for the clients and investment in our teams, including building admin time into Team Member schedules and refining our training and oversight of those in leadership positions. We would be happy to further discuss these changes if you are interested by contacting us at recruiting@reachingmilestones.com.

Unethical practices

Pros

RBTs on the floor are nice people. The kids are great.

Cons

They fraudulently bill, they engage in duel relationships with clients (befriend them on social media for example), they put people in leadership positions who don’t have the credentials or experience because of favoritism, they put new employees with clients without adequate (or even any) training, they “lead” based on punishment (yelling at employees in front of people, for example) rather than reinforcement contingencies, they require employees to “volunteer” for weekend events so that they can make money, higher leadership does not listen to advice of BCBAs with more experience than them and if they do (they act as if it was their idea), they underpay employees, they make up protocols that are not based on research, they don’t have materials ready so instructors have to find them during what is supposed to be session time with the kids, they hold “parent nights out” which entail watching movies and eating pizza as well as go on community outings with clients although there are no goals in place to address during those outings (basically billing to babysit), leadership does not model what they expect of instructors, they violate HIPPA on a daily basis....

We apologize for having been inactive on Glassdoor and therefore have taken a little while to respond to your review. We want to thank you for previous four years of service to our families! We are glad to hear you enjoyed working alongside your co-workers on the floor and the clients you served. We take the allegations you have made seriously, and these are areas that have been investigated and dealt with at all levels within the company. Since July 2018, we have made many positive changes to our leadership development/training program and have even created a Compliance Department to ensure our Team Members are in compliance across federal and state and standards. We do feel supporting our local communities and education those around us on ABA is very important; however these are not required by all Team Members and are paid if a Team Member chooses to participate. If you are interested in hearing about more positive changes we have made, feel free to reach out to us at recruiting@reachingmilestones.com.

Pros

Reaching Milestones is a great company that values growth. Employees are continuously given the opportunity to increase their knowledge in ABA. Whether you have a background in ABA or not, you will get some of the best training to prepare you for the job. From my experience, the Richmond Hill clinic in Georgia is supportive and has a great atmosphere. I can reach out to my co-workers if I have any questions and they are excited to help me. At the end, all the work done is for the happiness and progress of the kiddos.

Cons

More community involvement would be great.

We love to have you as a part of our Team that dedicates their time to the overall happiness and progress of the clients we serve! Community involvement has been a very big focus of ours for 2019 and since this review we have even developed a Community Outreach Department to oversee our efforts! As of May 2019, our company has participated in 37 events and 42 community partner visits. We are looking forward to continuing to grow our relationships with the community and spreading awareness!
