Pros

I've heard from older coworkers that this company was once decent, but looking at what it has become now, it's almost impossible to imagine. Realself is nothing short of a miserable place to work.

Cons

- The company is drowning in problems caused by clueless and self-absorbed leadership. - The people in charge are vain, delusional, and completely detached from reality. They care more about appearances than the employees who keep the business running. - Targets are impossible to meet because leadership only chases short-term profit and ego boosts. - Promotions and rewards go to those with personal connections, not to those who actually work hard. - Years of dedication mean nothing. Even top performers are tossed aside the moment they make one small mistake. - Managers are toxic, aggressive, and unbearable, making daily life at work a constant source of stress. - The workload is crushing, and the lack of support makes everything worse. - Realself makes it painfully clear that its leadership has no regard for its employees' well-being. The only thing that matters to them is money and self-praise. If you value your sanity, avoid this place at all costs. Working here will drain every ounce of motivation and dignity you have left.

Pros

The concept of empowering clients sounded meaningful at first.

Cons

The work felt transactional from start to finish. Calls were rushed, scripts were recycled, and genuine human connection didn’t matter as long as numbers looked good. The constant push to sell erased any sense of authenticity. It’s hard to believe in the mission when the environment feels so mechanical and cold.

Pros

- A lot of expectations, and ownership but at the same time it comes with opportunity for career growth. -I used think there was a NY inner circle, but then somebody close to leadership was fired for underperformance in their role and we were told we can stay remote indefinitely. -The new Leadership is very direct and hands on, which is good for the business for the most part -This meritocracy is very good if you are hard worker and confident, but a lot of colleagues are maybe not as hard of workers so there is a shifting dynamic in some legacy people rising up and others filtering out. If you are confident in your abilities, you can probably get a lot of ownership and career growth, but I think that if you are a underperformer or aren't wanting to work 8 hours a day don't come here, you will be expected to work. Performers leave good reviews, people that got fired I think leave almost all the bad reviews but that's normal when there is a lot of change. For me it's somewhere between 3.9 and 4.3.

Cons

Sometimes it's hard to prioritize when there is so much to do Leadership can be a little unclear with longer term goals Bad has also come with chaos, tight deadlines, bar being raised, some turnover
