The people here are amazing. Great group of smart individuals that believe in the product and are allowed to build on their respective strengths. Management is supportive of their teams without being micromanagers. Great place to work!

Cons

It takes some explaining when telling others what the company does.

Pros

Great, open, collaborative company culture. Open door policy and your voice is definitely heard. There is never a dull moment... Also, the company as a whole is super dedicated to bringing confidence to the millions of consumers looking for help navigating the multi-billion dollar aesthetics industry. I think RealSelf is going to continue growing quickly, as there is literally no other place consumers can access the information available on the site.

Cons

Where they are opportunities, there are always challenges. The subject matter is still shocking to some people, of course.

Pros

It's up and coming place to work. It's a rare start-up that has taken the time to build a solid foundation before raising rounds of funds which translates directly to the employees share value. The company is profitable and has a solid board (Tom Seery, Rich Barton and Mike Slade). The goal is to make a change in the global perception of consumers making choices without judgement.

Cons

Start-up environment. Typical growing pains. Communication could be better, but the team is earnest in building an entrepreneurial and fun culture while maintaining work/life balance.
