Pros

Good Benefits, most co-workers are friendly.

Cons

This company does not pay bills on time or in a timely matter. The management does not have any compassion for their vendors, especially the "mom and pop" vendors who need paid. I went to management with concerns of how many complaints I was receiving, management told me to "lower my expectations". This was not acceptable for me. You will spend 95% of your day dealing with unhappy vendors and trying to put out fires from years ago that were never dealt with. Culture here really suffers from the high turnover, and negative environment. You will have no work/life balance here as you are always playing catch up in a place that will always be behind since they don't pay on time and are very understaffed. Example: I had to take my child to the doctor and requested to leave 2 hours early, the response I got was very unfriendly and I was asked "when will I make that up?" No compassion that I needed to take my sick child to the doctor. Of course I had already planned to make up the time but the attitude received was terrible. Besides isn't that what sick time and PTO time (that the employee accrues) is for?? Bottom line is I have never worked for such a negative place and I would NOT recommend working here to anyone.

Pros

Competitive Wage for LPN of approx $4k/month full time. (One of the highest paying LPN positions in the area). Very thorough housekeeping department. Resident/Patient pets permitted to visit. Inclusive, Resident/Patient activity department. Caring administrator and fantastic maintenance dept, as well as house keeping/laundry depts. Good quality computer system. Effective therapy team. Skilled and long term facility.

Cons

Expensive benefits package, poor benefits, under-staffing (below legal minimums), no staff accountability, low standard of care, high turnover, low end equipment and poor quality food. Lack of continuity, high Patient/Resident dissatisfaction, due to malpractice occurrences daily. Low CNA. 80% of staff is burned out within 3 months of beginning employment at this care facility due to a combination of large work-load and low staffing ratios with little management support and involvement.

Pros

The only thing I can say good about this company is that they do own several facilities around Oregon (possibly more in other states), so if you move they may be able to find you a position at another one of their facilities.

Cons

I worked for one of their facilities for about 5 years; I only saw ONE pay increase. On top of that i had kids to raise and wanted more hours but if you were not male, a minority, or kiss their (well you know) you didn't get but minimum hours allotted while others were working more than their share of shifts and getting LOTS of overtime!! I barely got my 37.5 hours for the week...others got 80 hours a week!! They can't keep their employees because they suck at how they treat them
