Pros

You get paid on time

Cons

My time with Regional Finance was short I did not like the culture of micromanaging my hard working team members. The culture is to shift all responsibilities to the team members while I as a manager just harass them. The customers get little to no help if they miss a payment. This is a subprime lender so you would think they would have something in place for customers that need help. The only help they can get is to wait a month (effecting their credit) to get a deferment and that’s only if they have made a payment. The District managers are overworked so they harass and micromanage you. Speaking to H.R is a joke because they are in cahoots with the DM. The culture the atmosphere and the pay is terrible. You do get PTO but an email was sent out to not purchase non-refundable hotel or plane tickets because they may revoke your PTO last minute depending on the business needs. The bonuses or lack there of is ridiculous. They sale you on bonuses but the reality is bonuses maybe$300 if you’re lucky. Now they have put in place if you don’t brainwash a customer into putting up their for collateral you don’t get your bonus at all.I would not recommend

Pros

• Some coworkers are genuinely great people and supportive. • Benefits are decent compared to some competitors.

Cons

• Bonus structure is misleading – what’s discussed during the interview is nowhere near what you actually receive. Expect a fraction of what’s promised. • Unpredictable, late nights – it’s common to be told you’re staying late with no notice, sometimes multiple times a week. • Weekend work misrepresented – they say you only work the last Saturday of the month, but in reality you’ll often work multiple Saturdays. • Work-life balance is nonexistent – constant schedule changes and unrealistic demands make personal time difficult. • Unrealistic performance goals – extremely high targets for a laughably small $50 bonus. • Promotions often go to unqualified individuals without clear reasoning or transparency. • Outdated, painfully slow system makes even simple tasks frustrating. • Serious safety concerns – branches sometimes hold thousands in cash with minimal security measures. • Deceptive and possibly illegal insurance sales practices create both ethical and legal concerns for staff.
