Pros

overall good culture, it's diverse except the team I was in, its structured okay as far as logistics, the CEO seems cool, good employee recognition and events. Good group of people in general. I like how it's minority focused which is what drew me to them in the first place. They also have better benefits than half of their competitors

Cons

Despite the "diversity" aspect of RELI, on the HR team, I was the only person of color on the team and I was the newest addition. I definitely felt isolated. Some nice people on my team but also some crazy people (they didn't believe in COVID) and sometimes unprofessional like with the cursing etc. They made me come in to the office for an orientation during peak of covid...and we were in the small conference room with like 12 people with no social distancing. It was just really uncomfortable and pretty cringey. The top leadership like the program managers had no idea what they were doing. It was a disaster on the project I was on. It was extremely unorganized and at times I was actually embarrassed to be part of RELi/my team because we looked dumb a lot of the times to the client. It was to the point where the client directly told me that he never wanted to work with the company/my team. It's crazy because the client actually banned one of my team members from working with him before I even got there. It was just toxic, demotivating, and just completely unrelatable even in recreational activities like lunch. Not to mention how inflexible and old-fashioned the programs/systems are. It was just super inefficient and inconvenient to the simplest task like doing someone's background check. Their pay is also below avg esp if you aren't on a specific contract but they try to keep profit by taking the budget from the government then paying you less. It's shady practice and I was actually trying to refer one of my friends to a role because I was hoping NOT being on HR team, her experience would be better than mine but of course the recruiter refused to tell me the salary range. Just be more transparent, do the right thing? It's just all ironic lol. Another con was that there were really some crazy people hired through the recruiting team and I just never understood how these people got past the recruiting screening. All these clusters of mess build up and it's just delays real productive work. At the end of the day, no one knows what they are actually doing lol

Pros

Zero, zilch, zip, none, nada

Cons

* HR Leader has the best interest of staff as his lowest priority; a true mgt yes man. * Constant reimagining and restructuring what they want to be pretty much yearly * No real idea of how to be competitive after graduating * Preaches core values but it’s lip service * Cover-ups, problems swept under the rug * Burnout staff at all costs * Unreasonable BD/growth expectations for staff already 100% allocated on delivery * No true career growth trajectory * The best staff often capped salary-wise
