Pros

-Exposure to a massive amount of technology available in the Cybersecurity industry with the opportunity to engage with and learn about concepts. -Great people that are usually eager to kickstart their career as a cybersecurity analyst, security engineer, or otherwise. -Leadership is consistently available for discussions on objectives -Good benefits in insurance, corporate events, and social opportunities

Cons

-No clear encouragement for long term multi-year commitment, either in management or technical roles, no clear effort in retaining current staff

It gets worse every day

Pros

Most of the people you work with are pretty cool, and you will learn a lot

Cons

No stability. Speaking up about unfair treatment or lack of communication results in being promptly let go for "poor performance" without a single example provided or conversation beforehand. I had several managers within a year, and I'm not the only one. The employee turnover is insane with people leaving or being fired with no warning every other day. This leads to no one knowing anything; you end up doing projects requested by people who no longer work there and are expected to figure it out. Low pay and limited growth. They only do raises and promotions once a year. When people leave, the rest of the team gets a massive workload increase and is told to be grateful for the "opportunity to stand out." Personal career goals don't matter. You can be promised an opportunity for months and get trained, only to be told you aren't allowed to do it anymore due to a manager change. Leadership is constantly making new rules or org changes that don't make sense, then acting surprised when they don't work. Strict environment. 100% in office with badge scans to ensure everyone is in for a certain amount of hours every day. While they offer flexible PTO, you are expected to be available while out. You will get flagged just for putting an "Out of Office" status on your email. There is no work-life balance whatsoever.
