This company expects all therapists, including evaluating therapists to be 90% productive. They will schedule you for over 8 hours of treatment expecting you to group your patients and make it work in an 8 hour day, all while chart reviewing, documenting, gathering equipment, and educating family and caregivers. If you go into overtime due to being scheduled for over 100% productivity, that’s not okay either. There’s no time to be a thoughtful therapist who puts their patients’ needs first and personalizes the patient’s case with specialized one-on-one treatments, because all the company cares about is money. They will emphasize the importance of socialization in group sessions while conveniently ignoring the fact that group sessions take away time for one-on-one sessions addressing safe performance of ADLs. Their values as an organization are disappointing.

Stay away from Reliant Rehabilitation. They’re always looking for an excuse to cut your pay. In 1 1/2 years time I’d had a total of 20% pay reduction with this company. They expect near fraudulent productivity levels, raises don’t exist, no 401k employer contributions, and no loyalty to their employees. Only a desperate individual would work for this company. And reliant pays women significantly less than they do men. Horrible company.
