Pros

Mostly ASYNC Lots going on, and you will be learning lots of things Mostly supportive & kind coworkers/managers

Cons

Usual startup pains Some coworkers are extremely toxic/have narc personalities Will withhold information, belittle you, gaslight you, and shift blame to you etc - just trying my best to avoid them, but it can be hard (sometimes my mental health takes a toll because of this)

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your positive comments about our async work environment and the learning opportunities we provide. We're glad to hear that most of your coworkers and managers are supportive and kind. For those who are not, we take your concerns seriously and hope you feel comfortable raising them to your manager, so that we can investigate and take appropriate action to ensure a healthy work environment for all employees. Remote is growing quickly and we acknowledge that there is work to be done on establishing processes and knowledge sharing. Thank you again for your honest review. We value your input and will use it to make our company a better place to work.

Pros

1. Being able to live and work where is important to you. 2. Incredible benefits. 3. Fast growing company that is making a powerful impact on the world of work for years to come. 4. Solid priorities on values compared to it's direct competitors. 5. Inspirational leadership and vision in CEO and COO.

Cons

1. Sales leadership is out of their depth. Incapable of working by the core values of the company. Struggling to implement the basic requirements of sales leadership ie. Segmenting the customer base with clear Rules of Engagement. Sweeping changes every quarter with zero transparency. 2. Internal communication needs work. Multiple departments (payroll, mobility, benefits) struggle with being able to find solutions and communicate clearly to clients.

Thanks for leaving a review. It’s disappointing to hear that you didn’t feel respected during your time with Remote, where kindness and transparency are two cornerstones of our company culture. All Remoters, including leadership, are expected to act, communicate, and work in the open, and to do so with kindness. That includes sharing our company goals, and progress on each one, for all Remoters to view and provide input on. We’ll continue to prioritize these areas as we grow. We wish you the best for your next opportunity! We are disappointed to read your list of cons - we believe we treat all of our employees with respect and kindness, also as you know transparency is part of our values and we share as much as possible via our public handbook.
