Pros

Unlimited PTO, free Spotify, catered lunches, free Citibike. Being on the ground floor of a startup and watching it evolve from early into middle stage has been so interesting. My coworkers are super smart and great people. It's really an honor to be working with them. The CRE problem we're working on solving is super unique.

Cons

Unfortunately, the problem lies with management and how management perpetuates culture throughout the company. There's a lot of gossip and exclusionary behavior that takes place. If you don't "play the game" the right way, you could be fired. Management is in it to make the most money for themselves as they possibly can with little regard for the wellbeing of their employees, perks aside. I will echo this sentiment from another review: "They struggle with constructive criticism, understanding the needs of their employees, taking accountability for their actions." In addition: on one occasion management told the engineering team that "bugs are a copout" meaning that bugs in software development shouldn't happen. Also, they specifically asked company members to submit positive reviews on this site.

Pros

Typical startup perks: booze, happy hours, team dinners, stocked kitchen, unlimited PTO, etc..

Cons

Culture & values are way off: they reward the wrong behaviors and in turn recognize the wrong people, everyone is out for themselves, the environment is very secretive and a lot of office gossip takes place. Executive team needs tweaking: they lack in two main areas: communication and trust. They struggle with constructive criticism (I saw multiple people brought to tears), understanding the needs of their employees and taking accountability for their own actions.
