The Retool product is technically fun to work on, highly impactful, and loved by customers. Lots of optimism towards the future, which is especially important with the current market downturn. It seems like Retool is a great bet for a SAAS startup. Some notable pros: - Little red tape and tons of opportunity everywhere - Every engineer i've worked with is highly capable, humble, and easy to collaborate with - Lots of culture events to get to know people better. Retool directly sponsors things like coffee chats, dinners, and drinks with colleagues - Transparent leadership. All hands every 2x where we openly discuss things like company financials, high and low lights, etc.

Cons

- WLB is what you make it. Because there's a huge opportunity, some people choose to work more than the 9-5 - Still in the startup mindset to move fast. now that the company is maturing, it's time to slow down a bit

• Exceptionally high caliber people across different functions and teams that spike on both intellect and empathy • Ambitious mission of improving the way software is built • Hyper-growth trajectory coupled with strong business fundamentals (truly a needle in a haystack!)

• Still building out the prioritization and decision-making muscle across the company. Sometimes have to roll with different changes in direction
