Eng fwd company with no clear sales strategy
Pros
-Free food is legit they offer a ton, and it's decent quality -SF and NYC offices have nice interiors -Tech setup is super flexible and accommodating, they will get you whatever you need
Cons
-ENG is leading the way with almost no product folks, so the product is just hacked into what any customer requests. The road map is nonexistent -Sales leadership clearly just talks around the CEO since he isn't a sales expert, while they push failing ideas in and confuse him -No consistency in how anything is done, from pricing to how we engage with leads -Most of us are struggling to hit our numbers every quarter while 2 reps carry the team with the best accounts -The free product and pricing is so confusing that it kills me every time I try to close a deal -Sales leadership is a revolving door, and have no idea what they are doing -For some reason, we use our own product for everything when we shouldn't be -No clear promotion path -Unachievable sales targets -Obvious cost-cutting measures like opening a Salt Lake City office to try to get cheaper sales talent, moving away from investing in SF and NYC -Leads are barely qualified - BD org is a mess
