A Challenging, Transformative Experience That Accelerated My Career

Pros

If you're looking for a place where you can coast or follow a playbook, this is not it. But if you're hungry to learn, eager to immerse yourself in cross-functional work, and ready to stretch your limits, this company will change your career trajectory. I joined during an incredibly volatile time, right after five U.S. entities had merged, and right before another 10+ acquisitions across the U.S. and EMEA happened in rapid succession. It was chaos. But it was also the greatest hands-on education in startup growth, global M&A integration, systems strategy, and private equity I could have ever asked for. I got closer to executive leadership here than I’ve ever been anywhere else. I built a network of people I deeply respect and will carry with me for the rest of my career. I learned how to lead through extreme ambiguity, and when I finally had the chance to hire and build my team, I saw firsthand what transformation and stability could look like.

Cons

The first 2.5 years were extremely difficult. I worked long hours, often without the resources or support needed. The pace was relentless, the expectations high, and the revolving door of executives, layoffs, cultural clashes, and system breakdowns made many days feel like survival mode. Many of the negative reviews on here aren’t completely wrong — but they are one-sided. This company is not for everyone. If you expect a polished, well-oiled machine, you’ll be disappointed. If you expect structure, process, and work-life balance from day one, you won’t find it. And yes, performance expectations can feel brutal. But that’s the nature of building something new under private equity pressure.

Pros

Great team culture and coworkers you enjoy collaborating with. Respect of work-life balance with the remote first policy and flexible PTO. Frequent and transparent company-wide communication, including monthly town halls so employees are in the loop.

Cons

New/immature company so many changes in leadership/structure have occurred over the last few years. Rigorous work expectations.

Pros

Upon hiring you are sent a few books, two in particular outline the style of the organization; "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team" and "The Advantage" both written by Patrick Lencioni. One delivers the messages of the other in a fictional story but a story with which everyone will relate. The company is serious about these styles, these values and this approach to getting the clear objectives complete. In short, no egos, no fiefdoms, no silos. One team focused on a unified objective. For me this is something I've been looking for, for a long time. The company is heavily invested in technology that helps their employees be productive and collaborative. From what I've seen they are also very invested in the development of their employees. Lastly, they are focused on their customer's success above all else. Asking for help and exposing your weaknesses or areas for improvement are not punished, rather it is expected. Lastly, mistakes are owned and addressed quickly individually or collectively.

Cons

This isn't exactly a con rather a clarifier for potential employees, be ready to learn, be ready to be humble, be ready to work HARD. If you you don't naturally posses these attributes this may not be a good fit.
