Pros

Company car, decent pay, holidays off.

Cons

Micromanage, changing goals, every month price increases and buy down changes making it nearly impossible for independents to understand pricing and pricing us out of the market. Constant new product launches that our complete waste of times as they only pad the pockets of our executives but the products don't actually sell once at retail. I am the daily bearer of bad news to every independent account. EDLP contract not competitive with so many price increases.

Pros

This list used to be longer, unfortunately it’s going downhill fast!

Cons

The new bonus program is a joke! Management doesn’t care for TMs anymore. I bet they are still getting their bonuses!

Stay Away! You have been warned!

Pros

The benefits are the only pro to this job.

Cons

This company discriminates! I worked for this company for over five years and couldn't transfer into other roles. I had great work performance so that wasn't the case. I watched this company develop a reverse affirmative action program which discriminates on white males, males, and people who are older workers. It is truly sickening! This company is dishonest and will act like they care about employees which is total bull. All this company cares about is money!! They care nothing about employees. The workload is unrealistic and stressful. The pay is not great in relation to the expectations and workload. You have to pay $175.00 out of your check for the company vehicle. This company will tell you that they will move you after one year of service. This is not true! You will stay wherever your moved at the first of your hire. This company DOESN'T promote from within. This company would rather hire someone who knows nothing about the industry rather than promote those who know what they are doing. It truly shows! The Territory Manager role is a college graduate revolving wheel. People hired will stay six to eight months on average. They figure out the truth and most leave. I would give this place less than one star if could. Apply with Phillip Morris if you want to work in the tobacco industry! They have better pay, nicer vehicles, and care about their workers.
