• Successfully managed to develop several project including software development • Successfully designed and developed RF, digital hardware design (including FPGA), filters and board layout with Genesys and Analog component level circuits for 5Mhz to 3Ghz range • Including GaN amplifier. • Successfully fixed and designed recent projects including 6-75KW tube amplifiers, waveguide circuits and waveguide tuners, waveguide windows designs, development and optimization for production at 915 MHz and at 2.45 Ghz. • Design and developed matching box for plasma • Designed and developed 1KW amplifier for 2-30Mhz using Cadence for schematics and PADS for board layout

Lots of Potential - Needs More Effective Mgmt and More Tech People

Pros

Engineering area is improving with some unique niche power electronics product on the manufacturing side of the business. They also have a legacy tube business that has potential that remains not completely tapped into. Lot of potential in these niche markets. Salary and benefits are pretty good, especially for a company this size.

Cons

Company needs a better balance - more technical knowledge and fewer salesmen. This is changing for the better lately. Top heavy in management, some of whom are proven ineffective but appear untouchable no matter how bad they screw up. If they could fix that problem company would improve.
