Pros

Good benefits (15% contributory pension; car allowance; share package; free lunch)

Cons

Cost cutting has led to low morale; nepotism in some parts of head office with executive assistants and other youngsters who have not been promoted on merit; sometimes a reluctance to challenge senior executives or managers.

Pros

Top notch pay and benefits. Good insurance. Good retirement. Great bonuses. Good salary.

Cons

No job stability for salaried employees. Hourly people become career employees because the union pay can't be beat for semi-skilled workers and they rarely if ever are involuntarily laid off. Salaried people always seem to be getting laid off. Management is somewhat strict with salaried people. Mistakes for salaried people often result in formal discipline. Discipline for union workers is less severe. Those who seek the status of being the Alpha Male are successful. The most out-spoken, confident, and bossy people are rewarded. Those who quietly and conscientiously do their jobs without drawing a lot of attention to themselves are overlooked and often targeted at layoff time.

Pros

- good pay, and that is literally about it

Cons

- you are just a number - completely sexist still, boys club in senior positions, they will have social drinks just with boys invited and won't invite any women, there is a negative light and negative comments are made about women that only work 3 or 4 days a week as they have young kids at home or have just had a baby - what makes it more annoying is that the company constantly talks about "diversity & inclusion" when it clearly the least diverse and least inclusive company around - people will outwardly lie to make you look bad so that they can try look better
