Pros

Good sales experience for someone who doesn't know much about sales. Never have to work past 5:15. Really nice employees. Young work environment if you are in your 20's.

Cons

Your colleagues and teammates will quit or get fired within a few weeks or months. I started with around 15 people in my training class, but when I left there were only 3 people remaining. The morale is really low and there's not a lot of job certainty. You can hit all of your KPI's, such as meetings booked, meetings held, opportunities approved and monthly recurring revenue and still not get promoted. You can go above and beyond for this company and exceed all of your goals and still not get what you deserve. That's exactly what happened to me and someone else on my team. The people who are underperforming and not doing well are threatened that they are going to get fired or put on a performance plan. Upper managements advice is "keep grinding" , "make more calls" "I know it's tough out there but keep giving it your all". You will have 3 meetings a day on somedays where they are essentially meaningless and where nothing groundbreaking/insightful is brought up in those meetings.

Pros

I resigned so that is the only pro.

Cons

This company front loads it's reviews on Glassdoor and pays for it so, you need to scroll down to read the true employee comments. This is a bunch of high school/college guys who are in leadership positions. They set unrealistic expectations for the every day worker. They ask you to sell recycling services but in reality, the are just a waste broker. I was asked to make false statements to my prospects on service savings and once clients signed on, they cancelled because savings were not realized. Poor sales leadership, if you want to call it that. If you can't deliver, don't sell it. Discrimination is an issue at this company.

Pros

You get to meet some amazing folks and learn new skills

Cons

I recently left a higher-paying job, where I spent three years, to join roadrunner recycling due to their enticing promises. Unfortunately, I encountered blatant racial discrimination and a toxic work environment. Contrary to standard HR practices, the company failed to provide adequate training or process documentation for their SQL server, despite knowing I had no prior experience with the particular server/database they use. Within five weeks, they expected me to master their database without guidance or resources. Ironically, during this period, I successfully brought in two new clients (beyond my job description). Despite this, my manager, who initially seemed supportive, revealed a dismissive attitude. Being the only black team member, I felt easily disposable. Colleagues (all white) confided that it took them 6-12 months to grasp the database, yet I was expected to become proficient in just five weeks through self-paced training with no documentation.
