Pros

Flexible, work-from-home options and a large 30+ department supporting all county IT functions, including public safety. Wisconsin Retirement System is ranked in the top nationwide.

Cons

The current pay plan only offers 5 years of pay increases. After 5 years, you only receive cost of living raises.

Great job, but too many supervisors for one person.

Pros

The clients I worked with were fabulous. I worked independently so that was a bonus as well. Most of my co-workers were awesome! The pay was great as well.

Cons

Although I worked by myself nights, holidays, and weekends, there were 3 supervisors I had to deal with, not just my own. The supervisor that got me canned did not like it when I called her out for belittling me because her ego was huge. I asked for help many times with the situation and got nowhere. With all of that, there was also a program manager that really didn't know what she was doing. The organization wasn't there at all and a lot of times all I heard was complaining.
