Pros

You get paid every two weeks. Company seems to be doing okay in spite of Covid.

Cons

I joined this company based on the job description and confirmation of the job description in the interviews. But, I didn't realize that the job description was misleading until it was too late. After witnessing series of lies and false promises, I quit. Couple of helpful pointers if you are looking for a job in Rocket Lawyer. (1) Do not assume that the job description accurately describes your role. Also, do not expect integrity. (2) CEO does not understand the difference between loyalty and incompetency. (3) If you are in a role where frequent interaction with the CEO is required, sooner or later you will realize how unpredictable the CEO is. Be alert and keep your guard up. (4) If there is harassment in the company and the harasser is close to the CEO, your only option is to quit. (5) If you are looking for a job in this company especially in engineering org, be aware that this company is very different from other bay area tech companies. Even if you don’t have a lot of other options due to the Covid situation, proceed carefully. Read the Glassdoor review by the product designer who got terminated after he argued with the CEO about Glassdoor reviews. (6) Don’t get tricked by all the positive reviews posted since March. Do your research.

Pros

You don't have to be very good at your job, no one really notices.

Cons

Moronic CEO that thinks he's some sort of brilliant visionary. Company bends over backwards to cover up CEO's indiscretions. Anyone with any sort of talent leaves once they realize the interview and "culture" is all smoke and mirrors. No one cares how good you actually perform your job, whoever blindly obeys the CEO gets promoted. None of senior management is remotely qualified to do their job.
