Pros

You'll get to work on very important projects and have lots of opportunities to grow and learn. Management doesn't really pay attention so you can do whatever you want on your own schedule.

Cons

Leadership changes every 3-6 months and the environment is constantly changing. Also, Quicken pays significantly less than other nearby companies. Your work will be praised, but won't be reflected in raises or bonuses, even if you're a rock star. Most of the company didn't get bonuses this year even though it's our "Best year ever". ~200 years of IT experience voluntarily walks out the door every month. Because of this, most tech solutions are sluggish and un-optimized, making day to day work require a series of tedious hacks to just do your job.

Pros

Hire people with little experience

Cons

No work life balance, terrifying cult-like mentality, abusive leaders, no accountability. They mishandled my personal information which has made me unable to receive a license from the NMLS, and lead me to have to cancel all my credit cards, and I never received a straight answer or an apology. They regularly shorted our pay, and I am still struggling to get back lost wages. I was lied to about my job description in the interview process as well. All around the worst experience of my life. I am embarrassed to say I worked here. In my training I was encouraged to lie to potential clients and use unethical, high-pressure sales techniques. Glad I ran far away.

Pros

Top notch mortgage training for the most part; no other companies comes near.

Cons

> +80 hours and mandatory Saturday because you wont hit your goal on the Spanish team. -You'll need to resale and rework on your own loan that get suspended or fall out. -Expectation are higher even tough you may exceed regular English speaking bankers as a Bilingual banker -No opportunities for position change or career advancement if you start as a mortgage banker. -6 digit income is all a sale point from recruitment, manager and SVP's -Brainwash you with their ISM's , make you drink their Kool-Aid. - I could go on and on.
