Pros

Hm. Not a place to work.

Cons

Good ol' boy environment. Promotions happen because management selects their friends and golf buddies. They pile work on their employees with no incentives or extra compensation. The dress code is horrible for some. Management is naggy and nit picky. Women and people of color stay in the same position for years....it's rare that they are seen in a higher role than manager/supervisor. Mostly all the positions above supervisor/manager are filled by white men who got placed in the position have no clue what they are doing. They rely heavily on their staff that they manage. A lot of people want to leave. Upper management receives large bonuses and salary imcreases. Most people in regular positions are not allowed to get bonuses. CFO and CEO are greedy. There are a lot of racist people there, that only speak to white individuals. Please save yourself and time.....RUN. You are too talented to waste yourself on a company that will not respect or value you.

Our company is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination for any reason. Historically speaking this industry has been dominated by males and we are working to change that. We do have a qualified female executive as well as multiple female directors. We have promoted and hired more females into management positions and the desire is to hire more. We appreciate your concern for wanting more diversity and it is something we are working on but always balancing the right candidate for the role. One way our employees can aid in increasing the variety of our candidates, is to provide referrals through their network. Giving feedback and voicing your opinions helps start the discussion and create action for change. We have an open door policy and would encourage you to talk to your manager or HR about these concerns. Due to the seriousness of your concerns we would ask that you please reach out to Ruby Swann the HR business partner for the Rollins Corporate Office.

Pros

Pay is decent unless you work in security or the mail room. Location isn't bad depending on where you're coming from. The building is clean.

Cons

Caucasian male dominated company with a brick ceiling (at least with glass you can see a little speck of potential.) It bothers me that there are no female execs. Extremely strict dress code that enforces ties, pantyhose, and a 3 toe max if wearing open toed shoes. No casual Friday's. Plantation way of thinking and sadly you can see who's in the house and who's in the field based on how they're treated. No room for growth. Technology is very outdated. No online bill payment. You can only call during normal business hours. You need a coupon booklet to make a payment. There's no automated phone option to pay after hours. Not a place for millennials to work or grow in.

Our company is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination for any reason. Historically speaking this industry has been dominated by males and we are working to change that. We do have a qualified female executive, we have hired more females into upper level management positions and are desire is to hire more. We appreciate your concern for wanting more diversity and it is something we are working on but always balance the right candidate for the role. One way our employees can aid in increasing the variety of our candidates, is to provide referrals through their network. In addition, with an organization founded on a long standing family history and has decades of success, we ask that employees consider that change takes time, it does not happen over night. Giving feedback and voicing your opinions helps start the discussion and create action for change. We have an open door policy and would encourage you to engage with our key leader, Jerry Gahlhoff, who is a Brand President and the HR Leader for all of Rollins. He is open to all employees reaching out to him directly for meaningful dialogue and partnering on solutions to concerns.

Pros

Very stable company. Owners are worth nearly $3b a piece so the company is going nowhere. Very recognizable brand for future jobs but you may have to explain why you worked for a company that killed bugs.

Cons

Top leadership and the whole culture at the HQ is one of a bullying and redneck culture. Seriously. I won't name names, but the top of the top just under the owners is a bullying redneck and that approach works its way right down the chain. Many senior leaders would never hold those titles at other companies...heck, it's a cockroach killing company. So a bottom of the barrel trade attracts bottom of the barrel leadership. Benefits are also horrible. 401(k) matches are paid out quarterly instead of with each paycheck. Health benefits' deductible is sky high. Oh, and random drug testing for everyone including professionals. Everyone. At any time.

Rollins does not tolerate bullying within any level of the organization. We do kill bugs....which we do very well actually, however, our job is beyond bugs. Our company purpose is to help proctect the world where we live, work, and play. We strive to be the best service provider in the world. In order to do this, we must ensure that our employees are alert, responsive and safe (as even our home office employees may drive for business purposes). We appreciate the feedback, but wished it could have been in person during your employment to give us a chance to understand the matter/concern in detail as well as better explain our employment requirements. Best wishes for success in your next opportunity!
