      IT department is horrible

      Pros

      None. People outside are great but if you work for support, management is a nest of vipers that will literally tell you things like "just do it and make sure someone else gets fired if it goes wrong".

      Cons

      The most unethical band of louts you can ever work for. The CIO and his cronies are terrible people. Do yourself a favor, never work for IT here.

      We are very proud of our dedicated and hardworking IT employees at Rollins. We are cutting edge, customer service focused, and we demand a strong work ethic. Our goal is to have long-term relationships with our customers and employees. But not every employee can thrive in this fast-paced environment, and we are always disappointed when the company or the employee decides we are not a good fit. We wish this individual complete success in their next position.

      Pros

      Steady Job, regular paycheck with some of the holidays

      Cons

      Most development decisions are made by contractors and not employees. There is not a good acceptance criteria for software excepted from contractors. Upper management that doesn't understand software makes really bad decisions about what should be done with the software and have invested in really bad software. Long sleeve shirt and tie are required to work there for all IT staff.

      Great teammates that are always there to back you up.

      Cons

      Backwards, the CIO and most of his managers are only driven by the business, and have very little concern for the employees. No work / life balance. Most people stay out of fear of losing or not finding another job.
