Pros

The direct team and teammates are great to work with and work-life balance is emphasized in the direct team, but anything beyond that is a complete mess.

Cons

While company-wide emails mention great numbers every time, budget cuts are constantly happening. (That is probably why numbers look great.) One might ask, how are budget cuts handled? They are solved by laying off people and then "restructuring", only to make numbers look good on paper. For a company that stresses quality home goods products created by in-house designers, they sure do not give a care about the designers. They are overworked, under-compensated, constantly ignored, and given unrealistic timelines. Designers are first to be kicked off the boat with these restructures, leaving their important work for the face of the company in the hands of outsourced contractors that do not return with quality work. If anyone would like to join the company, think twice, because you might either be miserable by the end of the month or be laid off by the end of the year. (Would also like to mention that they absolutely DO NOT like to give raises and promotions and will gaslight you into thinking that you're not doing well.) Cheers!

Pros

You can get free rugs

Cons

Poor organization structure. Constantly rebuilding. Unsure of their future. Poor upper management and leadership team. It all starts from the top and the top is not it.

Pros

The product was innovative and appealing and I was fortunate to work with some extremely talented individuals. Not only did I increase my skill set, I also created long lasting relationships.

Cons

The nepotism at Ruggable was something I never experienced in my career. They always wanted to talk about diversity. If you consider Bain, Accenture, and McKinsey diversity, then yes. Management was not rooted in reality mainly due to the inexperience of the c-suite. If your vocabulary has any more words than "Yes," good luck. They cared more about hypotheticals than real-world experience.
