There are a few dedicated and talented employees doing their best in a very difficult environment. Some teams genuinely try to support one another, but those efforts are often overshadowed by broader cultural issues.
Cons
In my experience, the work culture here relies heavily on fear, extreme control, and psychological pressure. Many employees report feeling undermined or demoralized. The turnover rate is remarkably high, with teams frequently losing people within months. SHRM has faced significant public discrimination lawsuits resulting in multimillion-dollar settlements, and from my perspective, nothing has changed internally since then. In fact, leadership deflects the criticism rather than address it, creating a deep disconnect between stated values and actual behavior. I strongly recommend that prospective applicants research recent public online articles,and reports about SHRM before making a decision. Based on my experience, those discussions accurately reflect many of the issues employees have faced here.
