Pros

SPS Commerce is a story in two parts, before and after significant senior leadership changes. I'll focus on the pros before the change: - Strong team cohesion - Excellent cross-team collaboration - Fantastic learning opportunities - Pay for performance - Amazing learning opportunities - Support from senior leadership - Great opportunities for growth - Transparent communication from leadership - Respected company you could be proud to have on your resume

Cons

All the cons from my experience come after the leadership changes: - Lack of support from senior leadership - In-fighting and a lack of collaboration both within and across teams - Employees are in survival mode, growth opportunities are now limited - Pay for performance replaced with a system based on favoritism from new leadership - New team members are selected based on leadership relationships, not talent - Transparency is gone - Stock price went from $208 at the peak to $62 at the time of this review. For those of who held stock, this is a big loss.

Pros

Free diet coke in office No emails off hours Good benefits

Cons

If you leave SPS, expect never to work in the retail space again. They are so universal hated as a company that hiring managers will hold it against you as an applicant. I was on the receiving end of the "silent layoffs" other reviews have mentioned and find my resume does better with a 3 year gap than it does with my SPS experience on it. Pay is poor. PTO was complete garbage. The dumbest people you know make all the management decisions, leaving you and your direct manager to suffer through it. Things have been on a downward slide since the current CEO came in. Expect more of the same.
