We have many staff that have worked at Nystrom for many years. So great and refreshing to hear that you are receiving great ongoing training and feel that Nystrom is improving patient care and making many efforts in doing so as the company looks ahead into the future. It's also great to hear that you receive good communication from other management staff and that you are very happy in your employment at Nystrom.       Pros

      Nystrom's is a good place to get a crash course of what it's like to work in the mental health field. And by good, I mean HORRIBLE! Honestly the only pro of working there is your co-workers. I did have the opportunity to meet some truly lovely people who just had the misfortune of really being hard up in the job department.

      Cons

      *Horrible management. -Management is completely disengaged from the day-to-day struggles of the support staff and registration staff; especially when it concerns staff safety. *LOADS of turnover. -constantly losing experienced employees.

      Hi, I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your employment at Nystrom other than the fact that you enjoyed working with the providers. It sounds like you may have been terminated for violating policies and procedures and you specifically stated in your review that you felt that we have "stupid policies." I believe most of our staff would agree that all policies we have in place are reasonable. In fact, many of our policies and procedures are set forth by licensing board guidelines and the MN Department of Human Services which are in place to protect patients and provide higher quality care to our patients. We do not "look for ways to catch our employees doing something wrong" as you suggest and are very supportive and accommodating to our employees.
