Thank you for your review. Thanks for commenting that the ability to gain experience here was good. I am sorry to hear that you would not recommend working at Nystrom based on your review. For the readers who will read this review, we hope you understand that occasionally, issues happen with an employee that cause that employee to become unsatisfied. This happens at any company. Sometimes an employee will do something that causes performance/disciplinary action and they disagree with their employer. We believe that this is the case with this review based on recent events of a former therapist based on the information written in this review. We think if you knew more details of why this former employee was dissatisfied, you’d agree with Nystrom and not this former disgruntled employee. Unfortunately, we’re not able to give more information about this due to employee confidentiality. We treat all of our employees with the utmost amount of respect and compassion.

Thank you for your review. We want to thank you for acknowledging that there is an abundance of flexibility in being a Marriage and Family Therapist here at Nystrom. We give our clinicians as much autonomy and independence as possible with providing as much and best support. Most of our positions enable our clinicians to determine how many hours they want to work each week as well as the specific hours worked. We agree that the staff we have within our organization are great, so thank you for commenting on that. I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the benefits package that is offered and also feel that the HR staff and senior staff are "unorganized and unprofessional." Nystrom & Associates puts a high value on clinical excellence and quality. They are very interested in meeting the needs of the community and trying new ways of helping clients. Nystrom has developed many programs that are innovative and cutting edge from Psychiatry, DBT, ARMHS, Co-Occurring CD, and more. There are many seasoned clinicians available to discuss and process clinical situations so you aren't isolated. Nystrom offers many training clinical in-services too. I have worked in many settings and this is the best so far. Very good benefits too.

Cons

No real cons. Mental health work is hard work and it is important for us (clinicians) to continuously find our own balance in life.
