Thanks for your review and we are happy to hear that you enjoy working with the clients and are able to observe the progress they are making. Thank you for commenting that you like the flexibility that this position provides.
I am sorry to hear that you feel the company is monetarily motivated. This is not the way the company prioritizes the work that we do. Helping adults, children, and families are our priorities as well as our employees. We do have hour requirements for some of our clinical staff. We are licensed by the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) which requires, in some of the programs we are licensed, that each client receive adequate care and DHS requires that our staff meet with some clients a minimum amount of time per week for the care that they need.
We do understand that the driving, late cancels/no-shows, documentation, and scheduling are challenges when providing mental health services to children and families in the community. Concurrent documentation is a standard strongly recommended by DHS standards. We do incorporate training around smart practices for scheduling, concurrent documentation, and confirming appointments before going to the home, but we understand these are still ongoing challenges with community-based work.
I am sorry you felt like the expectations around hours was miscommunicated by management. We discuss the compensation structure, including billables and non-billables, at the initial phone screen, at interviews, and upon an official offer. We do compensate our staff for any work-related duties; both non-billable and billable and would be happy to discuss this further if there is a misunderstanding
We would love for you to stick around and we certainly don’t want you to feel overworked or unappreciated. Would you be willing to speak with me 1:1 about your concerns and how we can help you feel more supported?
Please reach out to HR or the Program Director of your program if you would want to take us up on that. We'd certainly appreciate it.
