None that I can think of

Cons

No room for growth.The nurses receive all the praise when most of them aren't team players.The managers play favoritism and the PCP's get treated as if they are beneath everyone when they are the ones doing all the work.

Pros

There aren't any good reasons other than a paycheck . The cafeteria food is pretty good, and security is very well represented.

Cons

Backstabbing is a regular occurrence, nobody works together for a common goal, all executive VP's have selfish agenda's, as evidenced by their customer and employee engagement scores being the lowest in Trinity and CHE.

Pros

As someone else in these reviews said, "The checks cash". New but dysfunctional building - seems all the way finding signs are poor and it's easy to get lost and you can't find the nurses.

Cons

Many, many, many. I've been in nursing for more than 20 years and at this hospital for about 5 of them. Every few years they change out top management & they're way over due. The current "C-Suite" is about as dysfunctional as I have ever seen. They talk a good game but that's about it. I have just accepted a job "across the river" at the better hospital. My soon to be new employer has a solid Leadership team and much more stable. Anyone looking to work at St. Joe's should first try to get in Beacon.
