Very conservative evangelical Christian atmosphere that may be interpreted as legalistic by some. Growth seems at times to have outpaced infrastructure.

I met some wonderful people during my time there. However, I also witnessed issues of toxicity, and saw people advancing in title due to personal connections with leadership or because the organization couldn’t afford to lose them, seemingly leading to offers of very attractive salaries. I’ve struggled for a long time with how to express my feelings about my experience at Samaritan’s Purse, as I was emotionally hurt during my time there. While there’s much I could say, I’ll simply share my disappointment in leadership. They set expectations, such as requiring men to wear ties and mandating face masks, but frequently failed to follow these rules themselves. Leadership should practice what they preach.
