Pros

Great people to work with. Some of the smartest and funniest co-workers I've ever had.

Cons

The worst management I've ever had. I was convinced to leave a career I was very happy with to join Sartorius and I've never had such a terrible regret in my life. Be prepared to be called by your manager every day you have vacation or take a sick day, then they'll criticize you because you can't answer your phone fast enough. They'll also remind you - repeatedly that even though you're salary, hitting your numbers, and overall doing your job if you're not moving your mouse every two minutes, they start recording it. There's no work-life balance. The open-door policy is a joke. Good luck trying to talk to HR. Do whatever management asks even if it's not in your contract because they will express otherwise why you're a horrible employee. Highly recommend not being a woman and working here.

Not the place for career advancment

Pros

Almost everyone is remote so it is easy to coordinate. Great place to work if you are not looking for career advancement or pay increases.

Cons

Upper management can blatantly lie to your face. There is a restructure every 2 years so there is no sense of stability or corporate direction. Due to a "flatish" structure the only way to move up the ladder is for your manager to leave and hope you can take their spot.

These developments pose challenges and require an organization to make necessary adjustments, such as restructuring. We believe the dynamic global environment in which we operate creates opportunities for those who seize them. And we see this in numbers. Depending on your personal goals and priorities in life, there may be opportunities to develop your career in another area or location.
