Pros

Current employees are great, some of the management is great to work with. The farm party and Christmas parties are great. They also have a decent gym you can use for free.

Cons

Where do I begin * The management tend to micro-manage their employees all the time. I.E.: Aux times are monitored strictly, they will assign many tickets to you, They will ask you to stop your troubleshooting and answer a call, SLA is hard to meet. * They can take anybody off the street with Customer Service experience and teach them the job. People with IT experience are less valued in CS. * Most of the products are proprietary, so if you want to grow a career in IT this is not the place to do it, unless you work in the IS department. * The raises are very minimal, or some years non-existent. You could do a bang up job for the whole year and get a low raise, or not be promoted. * There has been so much turn-over in the CS department over the years. * The 401k here is ok, but not great * Management gives you false hope in advancing in your career objectives. You pretty much have to be buddy-buddy with the overall manager to get promoted. * The morale of the department has gone way down in the past years. * policies are sent mostly through emails and change way too often. * the department has turned from a Technical Service desk to a call center, which doesn't seem to fit for the kind of work this position entails. * They only pay for either a network + ,or Secirty + once you have DoD access. So if you are looking for a company to pay for your certification in CS look somewhere else, unless you are in the IS department.

Pros

Gym room and the Coffee Room

Cons

Left hand does not Know what the Right hand is doing. The Owners don't know their Company has Cancer in the Feet . I must start by Congratulating the owner with all the effort put in to create what is suppose to be a great company. Unfortunately, the people at the bottom do some very insane things he is not aware of. You will not advance to upper grades if you do not know anybody. I remember one of the female managers in Robotics department told me "She does not understand why black people get hire" Few weeks later she fired me when I shared things she said to a black male who worked with me. A lot of people did leave the Robotics customer service department because of her. To me it is like a gang mob she ran inside that department. If she does not like your head, believe it or not your days are numbered. These are things the owner does not know and will never be aware of. I am glad I left the company because I was not able to support the kind of injustice that goes there. We had couple black folks there, whom they needed because they all speak French and helped us a lot with Canadian customers. I will not recommend a black person to apply there, he will spend years there as level 1

Pros

Employees and the fitness center

Cons

I don't know if the company is broke and doesn't have the money to spend but most of the problems incurred by this company are due to "growing pains" (even though they haven't grown in many years), not having qualified people to assist, and unwillingness to purchase products for business use. They really just have no idea of what they are doing or which way to go. Very choatic and messy, horrible managers that don't know how to do thier job. People placed in positions because they were friends, not because they are knowledgeable of the subject matter. Pay rate is severely low, turnover rate is high, no formal process in place

Pros

Good company culture, talented, hardworking employees/co-workers. Long term retention of employees Competitive wages and benefits

Cons

Many departments/employees overlooked for contributions and taken for granted, while others are given regular praise, appreciation, awards and $ bonuses. Training and instruction for procedures are not well communicated. Too much time wasted trying to figure out who the 'go to' people are in other departments. Departments are too lean and employees are overwhelmed with workloads, but managers don't want to increase dept budgets for new employees/help.

Pros

Working at Scriptpro taught me a lot during my time there for close to four years. In that time frame I learned a lot in terms of team building, being accountable for your actions, and overall understanding when you need to own something. The team and the company itself provide me with a lot of chances to grow, and even allowed me to connect with several employees who became great friends. I learned many skills that I would be able to take forward into future job positions, and there are many team building activities handled by members within each team itself. Except...

Cons

Those stuck within the workflow support team, and those placed under teams with certain managers. I will not name them directly, but know that working here you will be at the fate of whatever mood your manager percieves you in. The downside to them is that some of them in certain departments are honestly quite lazy, and very disconnected from the teams they work with. They aren't aware of all the things ongoing within the company, and in truth it becomes more of a brownnosing enviorment to stay around. For example there was one employee who spent close to three years not doing his job in the company and underperforming and in some cases creating more work for other members of the team. Yet, at the end of the day he was allowed to stay on until enough complaints were brought up to HR simply because he was friends with the manager. This goes into line with other individuals throughout the company as well, many of them are just friends with the managers and thus secure there roles and positions. There is also another issue, in that many members of the staff are very incline to keep certain information or skills to themselves and are not willing to share the information. The feeling that you need to validate your own importance exists here with the company, otherwise you'll be passed over for promotion or have a less likely chance to be terminated due to the importance you place yourself as.

Pros

Commitment to patient safety, strong software team, easy to access location, fitness center with free classes, clean and modern buildings.

Cons

Lack of management: Some managers do not have the capacity to spend time with their teams. No regular check-ins and reviews aren’t meaningful. No clear path for career advancement. You are lucky to get time with your manager. Executive oversight: No decisions can be made without an executive (family member). Communication: Lack of transparency results in gossiping which overall feels toxic. Emotion over metrics: Work is guided more by emotion instead of metrics. It is hard to know why you are working on a project other than the fact that the CEO said so. Policies over Performance: There is strict yet inconsistent oversight over unplanned paid-time-off (sick days, basically), time tracking, and remote working policies. Meetings will totally derail if there are typos or formatting inconsistencies in documentation. Many procedures based on shuffling of hardcopy paperwork. Encouragement: there is not a culture of encouragement, even a simple “nice job.” If feedback and encouragement matters to you, you will miss this here.
