Pros

Great flexibility with time and scheduling for salaried corporate. Business casual environment where it's "Corporate" but with a friendly relaxed type of atmosphere.

Cons

Constant changes in evaluation metrics. Turnover is also an issue. Communication can be very unclear.

Pros

Lots of freedom in the feild. You are free to be yoirself with the customers and that led to good tips on top of what u get paid, pretty cool deal.

Cons

Every job jas a few down sides, but the worst of all would have to be NEVER knowing when u will be off....

Pros

You can switch to different departments when an opening is available.

Cons

I worked in the Home Improvement Warranty department. Customers yell at you all day because Sears does a horrible job with home remodeling. The salespeople do not point out that there are 2 warranties, one for the product..Example -Kitchen Remodeling, and one for the labor. Most times they are being charged for the labor and they yell about that. Also, you get hired in Tier I, and you take all the smack from the customer, then you call a Tier II advisor to finish up with scheduling. Tier II think they are GODS or something. They will talk down to you and cut you off mid-sentence, and more. They are the MOST unprofessional group of people I have ever worked with.
