Pros

Great mission with staff dedicated to the wonderful children. Financially supportive of alternate modes of commute/transportation.

Cons

Dysfunctional and sometimes hostile work environment while management professes to be supportive of staff.

Pros

It feels good to know you're making a difference, even in non-clinical positions. All employees, from physicians to custodians, seem to enjoy their work. Benefits are excellent compared to most hospitals in the region. While fraught with beauracracy, Children's seems to have their heart in the right place.

Cons

It's not located near the center of the city, and there's always construction going on, making navigating the campus a chore. Due to several shake-ups in upper administration, it seems like Children's mission and vision statements also need a revision to point out their haphazard expansion and growth plans. Also, smells like bleach everywhere.
