Pros

Remote work and unlimited PTO

Cons

No raises or standard of living increases. No financial support for remote work - pay for your own wifi, cell phone, printer, etc. No maternity leave. No diversity - management is mostly men; our board includes only one woman. No effort to get us together in person as a team or company. No change management for the 3 acquisitions in 2022. Followed by 10% layoff in 2023, and more ppl let go in January 2024. Then another acquisition in 2024. No customer-led growth, despite leadership’s claims. Certainly no product-driven growth. Product outages and reliability issues constantly. Company policy regarding product issues/bugs is intentionally not transparent with customers. Commission rates have decreased year over year, with HALF of all commission dependent on l other people also hitting their quotas. You could hit 500% of your quota but you wouldn’t make more commission off it unless your entire pod hits their ANNUAL quota.

Poor Leadership Ruins Everything Good.

Pros

The core idea that Securly originally pursued is truly inspiring. Most of the team recognizes its significance and wholeheartedly commits to ethical actions. Numerous team members consistently go the extra mile to bolster one another.

Cons

The leadership, especially the C-Level Executives, seems disconnected from the real challenges and well-being of the team members. Every day, it becomes increasingly clear that they are entrenched in outdated management practices and have failed to adapt to the leadership and strategies needed in today's workforce. While I cannot speak for everyone, some individuals display particularly selfish behavior and have single-handedly disrupted team momentum and progress. Many teams are operating with inadequate staffing, inadequate compensation, and excessive workloads, leading to widespread burnout. People are experiencing burnout, yet they can't afford to resign, nor do they have the time to seek better employment opportunities due to their overwhelming workloads and limited mental capacity. It is rather ironic that this is a company that seeks to be known as a pillar of wellness while not recognizing the true suffering of its team.
