Pros

Working with outstanding staff and making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families. Building strong relationships with peers.

Cons

Being bombarded with new systems and little to no training. Webinars are shoved down your throat and the folks creating the webinars are not motivating at all. The worst training program I have ever experienced. If you are looking for a company with professional growth opportunities this isn't the company for you, promotions are done from outside the company, new positions are created and not even posted for current employees. The culture of the organization a year ago was based on CHART an acronym that stood for caring, honesty, appreciation, respect and teamwork, in the last year the senior leadership of this organization has made the teams feel like CHART stands for cynical, hypercritical, abusive, rigid and threatening. Talented employees are exiting the stage and I hope that anyone with the desire to join this organization will do some research. Senior leadership brags that the owner of the son didn't stick around. Knee jerk reactions happen across the board.

Pros

staff are really great people who are constantly getting screwed over. Raises are generally under 1%, but at least it is a job until something better comes up

Cons

Everything.......no recognition. Monthly employee of the month is rigged as is the yearly winners of the SLC employee of the year. It is all about kissing up to the upper management not weather or not you are actually a devoted and hardworking employee. It is a very sad state at the community level, with corporate talking values and mission statements that they themselves do not abide by.

Pros

Used to be a great company to work for..

Cons

New team in upper management...so sad because the old regime that was there cared about employees, these people literally tell you to go find a new job if you don't like what they have to say. I never heard anything like that when the good people were in charge. Also sad is the owner's son left the company to start his own...that has to tell you something. I used to be proud to be employed by Seniorlifestyle, I couldn't run out of the door quick enough. Good luck Seniorlifestyle, you need it. There are many other companies to work for that just may value their employees.
